The Invasion

My first impression of The Invasion was suprise. I thought that the way they combined science fiction and horror made the movie eye-catching and wonderful to watch. Plus, the movie is based off the book The Body Snatchers, by Jack Finney. The Invasion is about an alien virus attacking modern day Earth. The virus attacks your DNA while you sleep and morphs you into a souless creature. Once you're infected, you can't fall asleep or it will enter your body and change your DNA coding and change you into a totally different person.

The main character, Carol Bennell, is a psychiatrist and drops off her son Oliver off at his father's house. Not knowing that her ex-husband has the virus that starts it all, Carol leaves Oliver in the hands of his father.

Once Carol realizes that something is wrong, she goes back to her ex-husband's house to pick up Oliver, but he isn't there. From then on, Carol is on a race to find Oliver and to not fall asleep along the way.

Some of the actors in this film include, Nicole Kidman, Daniel Craig, Jackson Bond, Jeremy Northam, and Jeffery Wright.
